COLUMBIA, Mo. – Margo Landmann (Bethlehem, South Africe) has signed a National Letter of Intent to enroll at the University of Missouri and play tennis for Mizzou, as announced today by Head Coach Colt Gaston.

Like her fellow signee Taylor Gruber (Spicewood, Texas), Landmann will enroll over the Winter break and start with the Tigers in January.

"Margo is a very talented player with a bright future ahead of her. She is a great kid with strong core values and those are characteristics I look for in recruits," Gaston said. "I was very impressed with the connection she made with the team and coaching staff on her visit here and that, along with her motivation to be great, excites me about Margo's future here at Mizzou."

Landmann has been among South Africa's top juniors for several years, as she is a former U12 National Champion. She ascended to the top spot on the South Africa juniors' ranking list in both the U12 and U14 divisions. Landmann has also represented her home country at the Nations Cup in Italy.

"I chose Mizzou because of the caring, supportive and hard-working team environment," said Landmann. "I know I'm joining a family of true-hearted and lifelong friends. I am so excited to be a Tiger!"

The Tigers open their Spring season against SEMO and Central Arkansas on Jan. 20 at the Mizzou Tennis Complex. For all the latest on Mizzou Tennis, stay tuned to MUTigers.com and follow the team on TwitterInstagram and Facebook.
