Series Snapshot vs. Florida

  • Florida leads the all-time series over Mizzou, 5-4.
  • The Gators hold a 3-1 advantage over the Tigers in all-time matches played in Gainesville, Fla.
  • Mizzou's last win in Gainesville occurred on Nov. 15, 2013, as the team was in midst of its perfect 34-0 regular season and SEC Championship.
  • In the programs' last meeting, Mizzou tallied a 3-2 victory over Florida inside the Hearnes Center last season (Nov. 20, 2016).

Coach Kreklow's Success Against Mary Wise

  • Head Coach Wayne Kreklow and the Tigers have tallied wins in four of their past six meetings against the nationally acclaimed Florida Gators.
  • Since 2013, under head coach Mary Wise, the Southeastern Conference power Gators have dropped only nine total conference matches. Four of those nine (44-percent) losses have come by the hands of Mizzou (three coming at Columbia, Mo., inside the Hearnes Center, one taking place in Gainesville, Fla.).

Mizzou Wins Thriller at South Carolina, Matches 2017 Season-High Winning Streak

  • The Tigers enter Sunday's match at Florida with a five-match winning streak, matching their longest unbeaten streak in SEC play and overall this year (joining their streak from Sept. 24 - Oct. 13 earlier this year).
  • Wednesday (Nov. 8) evening at South Carolina, the Tigers' offense was alive and well, keying their five-set thrilling win against the Gamecocks. In fact, Mizzou's 64 kills on .406 hitting marked a new all-time five-set team hitting performance in program history.
  • The previous standard occurred on Oct. 16, 1998, as the Tigers collectively hit .388 against Oklahoma.
  • Mizzou's incredible offensive balance proved crucial in its recent victory at South Carolina, as six individuals produced nine-plus kills. Leketor Member-Meneh (11 kills on .381 hitting), Kayla Caffey (10 kills on .471 hitting), Sydney Deeken (9 kills on .500 hitting), Dariana Hollingsworth (9 kills on .471 hitting), Alyssa Munlyn (9 kills on .421 hitting) and Kira Larson (9 kills on .368 hitting) all enjoyed fantastic performances in the team's triumph.
  • The setting duo of Courtney Eckenrode (35 assists) and Ali Kreklow (19 assists) was the driving force behind Mizzou's highly efficient hitting night. Eckenrode topped 30 assists for the 10th time this season, including her fourth such occurrence in SEC action.
  • Over the Tigers' current five-match winning streak, the team is hitting .329 as a whole while producing 3.11 blocks per set.
  • Munlyn (.487), Member-Meneh (.388), Caffey (.387) and Larson (.349) are all hitting at high levels, while Eckenrode is pacing the team with 7.58 assists per set in midst of the 6-2 offensive system.
