COLUMBIA, Mo. – After hosting for several years at the Plaza Tennis Center in Kansas City, the sixth annual Mizzou Invite returns to campus this weekend to open the Tigers' home schedule. Mizzou welcomes Kansas State, Memphis and Wichita State to the event, which will take place Thursday through Saturday at the Mizzou Tennis Complex. Admission is free throughout the weekend.

The tournament has no dual format, but rather individual singles players and doubles pairings will match up with opponents from each program.

The Tigers are coming off a season-opening performance at the Puerto Rico Fall Classic, moved to Athens, Ga., as a result of the aftermath of Hurricane Irma. Mizzou looks to build off a weekend that featured three doubles wins and a singles victory for freshman Ellie Wright (Gainesville, Fla.) in her collegiate debut.
