COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Women's Golf launches its 2017 fall season in The Woodlands, Texas, at the 2017 Jim West Challenge. The tournament, which is hosted by Texas State, is set for Sept. 11-12 at The Club at Carlton Woods on the Par-71 Fazio Course.

The Jim West Challenge begins Monday at 8:30 a.m. (CT) with a shotgun start and 36 holes of continuous play. Action concludes on Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. with the third and final round.

The Tigers will be one of 14 teams competing at the tournament, joining Augusta, Duke, Kent State, UNCG, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Southern Miss, Texas A&M, TCU, UTSA, Texas State, Texas Tech and Tulsa in the field.

Head Coach Stephanie Priesmeyer brings junior Emma Allen (Southampton, England), junior Marit Harryvan (Winschoten, Netherlands), junior Cayce Hendrickson (Benton, Ky.), sophomore Jessica Yuen (Bolingbrook, Ill.) and senior Clara Young (North Berwick, Scotland) to the Tigers' first tournament of the 2017 campaign.

Last year, the Tigers carded a team total 14-over-par (878: 289-293-296) at the Jim West Challenge. Allen, playing as an individual competitor, closed out her final round last year tied for 15th, shooting 3-under-par (69).
