COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou Women's Basketball (6-3) hosts SIU-Edwardsville on Wednesday at Mizzou Arena. The matchup marks the beginning of a four-game homestand for the Tigers. Tip is set for 7 p.m. CT on SEC Network Plus.

OF NOTE
- This is the third meeting all-time and third meeting in the last four seasons between SIUE and Mizzou.
- Mizzou has outscored SIUE by an average of 22 points in the two previous contests, including a 29-point victory a season ago.
- Mizzou is 47-4 all-time against Ohio Valley opponents.
- The Tigers finished November with no more than two losses for the sixth consecutive season. Mizzou is 23-4 in Novembers since the 2013-14 campaign.
- Mizzou is looking for its 29th consecutive home nonconference victory on Wednesday.
- Despite playing just three true forwards this season, Mizzou ranks second among SEC teams in total blocked shots with 39 swats through nine games. Sophomore Cierra Porter has a league-best 18 total blocked shots in 2016-17 after tallying just 22 a season ago.
- Porter, along with Tennessee's Mercedes Russell, is one of two players in the league ranking in the top 20 in scoring, top 10 in rebounding and top five in blocked shots.
SOPHOMORE DUO
- After posting SEC All-Freshmen seasons a year ago, Sophie Cunningham and Cierra Porter have dominated through Mizzou's first nine games. Together the pair has tallied 17 double-digit performances and five double-doubles. The duo combined to post 34 double-digit performances and five double-doubles total as freshmen.
- Porter and Cunningham have notched at least 23 combined points in every game this season.
- Mizzou is one of seven teams in the SEC to have at least two players ranking in the top 20 in the league in scoring. Cunningham ranks 11th with 15.2 points per game.
- The pair is responsible for 44.8 percent of Mizzou's scoring production and 42.2 percent of the Tigers' field goals thus far.
SCOUTING SIUE
- SIUE has won two of its last four games after starting the season on a three-game skid. The Cougars are facing their second consecutive Southeastern Conference foe after falling to Vanderbilt, 73-63 on Saturday.
- The Cougars share a common opponent with Mizzou in Western Illinois. SIUE fell 76-74 in a tight battle with the Leathernecks at home.
- Freshman Donshel Beck is averaging a team-high 13.3 points per game to go along with 6.0 rebounds per contest. She is shooting 40 percent from the field, with all 93 points this season coning inside the three-point line.
- Three other Cougars are posting at least eight points per game. Nakiah Bell, a 5-foot-5 point guard, is chipping in 9.7 points per game. She's made 18 of SIUE's 44 total treys this season, shooting 38.3 percent from beyond the arc.
LAST TIME OUT
- Mizzou fell on the road to IUPUI, 73-45, on Sunday. IUPUI (6-1) shot 52 percent from the field, including 50 percent from beyond the arc, and used a strong first half to build a lead and down Mizzou.
- Sophomores Sophie Cunningham and Cierra Porter led the Tigers. Cunningham notched 13 points, reaching double figures for the eighth time in nine games. Porter tallied 12 points and six rebounds. She's collected at least 10 points in nine consecutive games to begin the 2016-17 campaign.
- IUPUI finished with three scorers in double figures. Junior Danielle Lawrence posted a game-high 24 points.
