COLUMBIA, Mo. – Freshman forward Sarah Luebbert (Jefferson City, Missouri) of the Mizzou soccer team was named to TopDrawerSoccer's Freshman Best XI second team, the site announced on Monday. Luebbert's honor comes on the heels of a noteworthy freshman campaign that earned her 2016 Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Year honors.

Luebbert, who also claimed All-SEC second team and NSCAA All-South Region third team honors, led the Tigers with 24 points on 10 goals and four assists during her freshman season. Her point and goal totals were the most for a Tiger since Kristin Andrighetto had 27 and 10 in 2009 and ranked second on both Mizzou's all-time freshman points and goals lists. She also paced the Tigers with four game-winning goals and started 18 games at the top of Mizzou's lineup.

Additionally, Luebbert finished the season ranked fifth among SEC players in goals per game (0.56) and sixth in points per game (1.33).
