COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Mizzou soccer team (11-5-1, 6-3-1 SEC) concludes the regular season as the team hosts No. 17 Florida on Thursday, Oct. 27 at 8 p.m. The game against will be broadcast live on the SEC Network with Jenn Hildreth and Heather Mitts on the call.

TIGER TIDBITS

  • Florida leads the all-time series 5-1-1.
  • The Tigers currently sit fifth in the SEC standings and has an RPI of 38. 
  • Missouri can finish anywhere from third to seventh in the final SEC standings. If the Tigers defeat the Gators, they will finish third or fourth. A ties secures Mizzou fifth-place, and a loss will put the team either fifth, sixth or seventh. 
  • Mizzou went 1-1-0 last weekend with a 1-0 loss to then-No. 15 Arkansas and a 4-3 comeback win over Georgia.
  • The Tigers trailed the Bulldogs 2-0 but scored four second half goals to earn the win. Freshman Sarah Luebbert, juniors Kaitlyn Clark and Jessica Johnson and redshirt freshman Madison Lewis all scored for the Tigers.
  • Missouri now has two wins this season after trailing 2-0, as the team also cameback against Central Arkansas in the season opener. 
  • Before this season, the last time the Tigers recovered from a 2-0 deficit was on Oct. 21, 2011, when Mizzou notched a 3-2 win over Kansas after trailing 2-0 in the 82nd minute.
  • Luebbert leads the team with 24 points on 10 goals and four assists. Her 24 points and 10 goals are the most for a Mizzou player since Kristin Andrighetto had 27 points and 10 goals in 2009. 
    Luebbert currently ranks tied for second on Mizzou's all-time freshman goals and points lists.
  • Clark leads the Tigers with seven assists on the year, including five in SEC play. 
  • Junior Allie Hess ranks second on the squad with 13 points on six goals and an assist. Hess entered her junior season with only one career goal.
  • The Tigers are 3-1-1 in overtime matches this season, with wins over Mississippi State, Illinois and Colorado, a tie with Texas A&M and a loss to Iowa.
  • Mizzou opened SEC play with a 5-0 win at Ole Miss on Sept. 9. The five goals were the most-ever by the Tigers in an SEC game and the most for the team since a 5-1 win over Pacific on Aug. 23, 2013.
