COLUMBIA, MO. – The Junkanoo Jam, a Thanksgiving tournament which features the Mizzou Women's Basketball team, has been moved from the Grand Bahama Island to the Bimini Islands of the Bahamas due to damage caused by Hurricane Matthew, as announced Wednesday by tournament directors.

The Junkanoo Jam will still take place as scheduled on Nov. 25-26. All games will be held at Gateway Christian Academy on North Bimini Island. All teams and fans who purchased travel packages through the Junkanoo Jam will be automatically assigned rooms at the Hilton at Resorts World Bimini.

Supporters who made their own arrangements can still purchase a fan package or room at the resort through Junkanoo Jam via the tournament website at www.junkanoojam.com.

Mizzou is slated for two games at the Junkanoo Jam, beginning with a clash against Creighton at 2:15 p.m. CT on Nov. 25. The Tigers will face either Dayton or Georgia Tech a day later.
