COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou Football got back to work Monday at the Kadlec Practice Fields after Saturday's first scrimmage of #MIZCamp and a day off on Sunday. A tough and physical session ended with a boisterous 11-on-11 segment.

#DLineZOU made its presence felt early and often, beginning with sophomore DE Josh Moore surging into the backfield for a tone-setting sack. Junior DL Charles Harris joined the action and picked up a pair of sacks and freshman LB Cole Garrett shot through a gap to collect a sack of his own. Meanwhile, DL Terry Beckner Jr. controlled the ground game, snuffing out runs with multiple tackles-for-loss.

Sophomore QB Drew Lock made plays happen through the air to answer the pass rush. After finding WR Eric Laurent for a 15-yard gain on the right side of the field, Lock looked left and connected with WR J'Mon Moore, who dragged a toe near the sideline, and hauled in a 25-yard reception and narrowly avoided bowling over legendary Voice of the Tigers, Mike Kelly. Lock capped his day with a beautiful throw on a fade route to WR Justin Smith, resulting in a 5-yard score for the offense. The defense won the final the battle though, forcing a turnover on downs during the last two-minute drill.
