Freshman forward Mitchell Smith Q&A

Q: What was the one thing about Mizzou that sold you during the recruiting process?

MS: "Probably just the coaching staff, how they were when I came on my visit. It was a lot like it was with my high school coach. Transitioning from high school to here was really easy."

Q: Describe your playing style to Mizzou fans...

MS: "Very athletic, play up-tempo, running. I keep going fast. And a big thing is I love to play defense."

Q: When you're away from the court, what are you doing?

MS: "I'm always hitting the books hard. I'm trying to focus on what I am going to study in the fall."

Q: Favorite movie?

MS: "The Dark Knight, anything with Batman I think is pretty cool. He is my favorite superhero."
