Throughout the course of an athletic year at Mizzou, there are many memorable moments that captivate fans. From game-winning shots to school records to grand slams, those moments resonate with fans for lifetimes. But each student-athlete who provides those moments has a story of their own and Mizzou Baseball senior Zach Lavy's story extended past the baseball diamond. He was one of college baseball's breakout stars and put together one of the best offensive seasons ever at Mizzou. During his senior season, he raised his batting average nearly 100 points and led the SEC in extra-base hits as the cornerstone of Mizzou's offense.
