COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Volleyball begins its Southeastern Conference schedule Wednesday evening vs. No. 9 Florida at the Hearnes Center. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT.
Wednesday's matchup will air live on the SEC Network with Tiffany Greene and Maria Taylor on the call. Fans can also follow Mizzou's 2015 SEC opener on Twitter (@MizzouVB) and via live stats through www.Statbroadcast.com.

- Mizzou concluded its 2015 nonconference schedule last Wednesday with a matchup at Saint Louis. The Tigers dropped a 3-0 contest to the Billikens, marking their first loss of the season. Overall in the nonconference season, Mizzou produced an outstanding 12-1 record with four tournament championships (Tiger Invitational, South Florida Invitational, Appalachian State Invitational and Butler Invitational).
- The Tigers' 12-1 start to the season is the third best record to begin a season in program history. Mizzou's impressive start in 2015 only trails the 2013 (34-0) and 1982 (19-0) Tiger squads.
- Heading into this season's SEC opener, Mizzou has been one of the conference's top offensive and defensive teams. Currently, the Tigers rank second in team hitting percentage (.301), third in assists per set (13.00), second in kills per set (13.96), second in blocks per set (2.50) and fourth in service aces per set (1.34).
- Junior Carly Kan paces the Tigers in individual leaders as her 4.70 kills per set and 5.24 points per set each rank first in the SEC. Additionally, Kan's seven double-doubles this season is T-3rd most in the conference.
- Other Mizzou players in the current SEC individual stat leaders include redshirt sophomore Kira Larson (.369 hitting percentage – 9th in SEC), freshman Alyssa Munlyn (1.06 blocks per set – 10th in SEC) and junior Alexa Ethridge (3.92 digs per set – 6th in SEC).
- The Tigers are 3-0 all-time in SEC season openers (3-2 win over Tennessee in 2012, 3-0 win over South Carolina in 2013 and 3-0 win over Mississippi State in 2014).
