Sophie Cunningham Named To 2015 USA Basketball Women's U19 World Championship Team Trials Roster

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – McDonalds All-American and incoming Mizzou women's basketball freshman, Sophie Cunningham, was named to the 2015 USA Basketball Women's U19 World Championship Team Trials roster, as announced today by USA Basketball.
Trials to select the 12-member USA squad will be held May 14-17 at the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo. The invitations were issued by the USA Basketball Women's Junior National Team Committee.
Cunningham, a four-time Missouri Class 5 girls basketball champion with Rock Bridge High School in Columbia, Mo., is one of 34 of the nation's top 19-and-under athletes to accept invitations to this year's World Championship Team Trials.
This year's recognition marks the third USA Basketball honor in Cunningham's career. Last summer, the future Tiger was selected to the 2014 USA Basketball Women's U18 National Team Trials, and in 2013 she played at the USA Basketball 3x3 U18 National Tournament.
