COLUMBIA, Mo. - The USSSA has announced a two-game series between the Florida Pride and Dallas Charge at University Field from June 15-16. Current USSSA Pride pitcher and former Mizzou softball All-American, Chelsea Thomas, headlines the two day set.
"I'm excited to return to University Field with the USSSA Pride this summer," Thomas said. "I have so many amazing memories in that circle and I can't wait to play on my `home' field again. The outpouring of support I still have from my Mizzou family is incredible and I can't wait to see them in the stands cheering on the USSSA Pride."
Both Monday and Tuesday night's game are scheduled for a 7:05 p.m. (CT) first pitch with gates opening to the public at 5:45 p.m. (CT). The June series at University Field is part of Florida and Dallas' 2015 National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) League Midwest Tour, as youth players across the area have the opportunity to watch some of the top softball talent in the world.
General admission adult tickets for each game are available for $10, while child (Age 2-12) and senior (Age 65+) tickets are available for $5 each. June 15 tickets available for sale can be found here, and June 16 tickets available for sale can be found here.
General public parking for attendees will be available at Lot U (University Hall) and Lot H after 5 p.m. each day. Additional parking will also be available at Lot Y with free shuttles on-hand to and from University Field. A detailed parking guide for the two-game series can be found here.
