  • Mizzou Men's Basketball returns to the friendly confines of Mizzou Arena for a three-game home stand that begins with Arkansas State on Tuesday, Dec. 1. Tipoff is slated for 8:05 p.m. on the SEC Network.
  • Although the Tigers dropped both their games at the CBE Hall of Fame Classic (Nov. 23-24), head coach Kim Anderson's squad found positivity in its comeback attempt vs. Northwestern.
  • Mizzou ultimately fell to the Wildcats by a score of 67-62, but tightened the deficit to just three points inside the final minute after trailing by 14 points at the half.
  • The second half surge vs. Northwestern was keyed by freshman guard Terrence Phillips, who scored 13 of his 16 points after the break. Phillips hit 3-of-6 shots from behind the arc.
  • Mizzou is 7-1 all-time against member schools of the Sun Belt Conference, in which Arkansas State resides. The Tigers last dropped a result to a Sun Belt school in 1974 (74-64 vs. South Alabama, Jan. 3, 1974, in Mobile, Ala.).

  • Mizzou returns home for a three-game stretch to begin the month of December, first welcoming Arkansas State to Mizzou Arena on Tuesday, Dec. 1 for an 8 p.m. tipoff on the SEC Network.
  • Head coach Kim Anderson's group will face an Arkansas State (2-4) team led in scoring by junior guard Devin Carter at 15.5 points per game. Junior forward Anthony Livingston follows Carter up with his 15.0 points-per-game average.
  • Livingston is also the team's principal rebounder, pulling down 9.8 rebounds per game for head coach John Brady.
  • The Redwolves have dropped two-straight games, falling on the road at Oregon (91-68) on Nov. 25 and at Baylor (94-72) on Nov. 27. ASU owns victories over Lyon College (81-37) on Nov. 16 and Jackson State (78-69) on Nov. 22. Both wins came at home in Jonesboro, Ark.

Closer Look at the Red Wolves

  • Arkansas State head coach John Brady announced on Nov. 16 that he would resign at the end of the 2015-16 season. Brady has compiled a 112-113 record in eight seasons at the school. Brady is most well known for his run at LSU (1997-2008), in which he led the squad to the 2006 NCAA Final Four. Brady compiled a 184-126 record during his 10-year stint at LSU.
  • The Red Wolves went 11-18 a season ago. The group was led in scoring by Livingston, who averaged 15.9 points per game. The forward averaged a double-double, grabbing 10.0 rebounds per game.
  • ASU picked up a notable non-conference win last season on the road at Mississippi State, defeating the Bulldogs 69-55 on Dec. 17, 2014.
