COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Volleyball hits the road this weekend for a pair of Southeastern Conference matchups. The Tigers face Mississippi State on Friday, Oct. 9, at 7 p.m. (CT) and later face Alabama on Sunday, Oct. 11, with first serve scheduled for 4 p.m. (CT).
Friday's contest in Starkville, Miss., will air on SEC Network+ via WatchESPN. Bart Gregory and Lindi Sallach will be on the call at the Newell-Grissom Building. Sunday's matchup in Tuscaloosa, Ala., will be broadcast live on SEC Network. Sam Gore and Jennifer Fowler will be on the call at Foster Auditorium.

- Mizzou leads the all-time series against Mississippi State, 6-0. The Tigers are a perfect 2-0 in all-time matches in Starkville, Miss.
- Mizzou leads the all-time series against Alabama, 4-2. The Tigers hold an all-time 3-0 record in contests in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
- Junior Carly Kan (Honolulu) currently leads the SEC in kills per set (4.54), points per set (5.12) and total kills (268). Those numbers also fare well nationally, ranking 13th, 13th and 25th, respectively.
- Two Tigers currently place in the top-10 in SEC hitting percentage. Both redshirt sophomore Kira Larson (Fargo, N.D.) and junior Julia Towler (Blue Springs, Mo.) possess an excellent .342 hitting percentage, tied for ninth-best in the conference.
- This season, Mizzou has consistently been one of the nation's most efficient hitting teams. Its .293 hitting percentage currently ranks second in the SEC and eighth in the NCAA.
- Last week, the Tigers earned two big victories to open their SEC schedule. On Wednesday, Sept. 30, Mizzou upset No. 9 Florida and four days later defeated Tennessee. The Tigers (2-0 SEC) are currently only one of two teams in the SEC with an unblemished conference record, joining No. 20 Kentucky (5-0 SEC).

Mizzou continues its SEC schedule on Friday, Oct. 16, vs. Ole Miss. First serve at the Hearnes Center is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CT and the match will be televised live on SEC Network + via WatchESPN.
Next Friday's contest in Columbia, Mo., will also mark the Tigers' annual Pink Out match. Fans are encouraged to wear pink and help raise awareness of breast cancer. Pink pom-poms will be available for Tiger fans while supplies last.
