COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Tennis continues its fall slate as a team after the Tigers completed a successful Mizzou Invite from Sept. 18-20.  Mizzou travels to Stillwater, Oklahoma for the 2015 ITA Central Regional Championship.

The tournament takes place from Oct. 15-19 and welcomes student-athletes from 23 schools to the Michael and Anne Greenwood Tennis Center at Oklahoma State University. The event features both a singles and doubles draw. Winners from each region claim spots at the USTA/ITA National Indoor Championships in Flushing Meadows, New York.

Mizzou senior Kelli Hine, who is No. 89 in the preseason ITA singles ranking, returns to action after competing at the Riviera/ITA All-American Championships. Hine dropped a pair of closely contested matches at the tournament, which hosted the nation's top returning players. She is one of only four competitors receiving a first round bye at the ITA Central Regional.

The Tigers went a combined 17-8 in singles matches and 12-3 in doubles matches at the Mizzou Invite. All seven members of head coach Sasha Schmid's squad will compete in the main singles draw this weekend. Three doubles tandems, Brianna Lashway and Cassidy Spearman, Hine and Bea Machado Santos, and Brittany Lashway and Clare Raley will also play in the main doubles draw.
