  • Mizzou is 2-1-1 on the young season, with wins over Purdue (3-2; 2OT) and TCU (2-0).
  • The squad twice responded from one-goal deficits to earn the win over the Boilermakers on Aug. 30. The Tigers outscored Purdue 3-1 over the final 43 minutes of the match to scratch out the dramatic win, thanks to redshirt senior Lauren Flynn's game-winner in the 103rd minute.
  • Three Tigers, Flynn, senior Candace Johnson and junior Melanie Donaldson, were named to the Boilermaker Challenge Cup All-Tournament Team for their play in Mizzou's two games last weekend.
  • Mizzou has scored six goals so far in 2015, all scored by different Tigers.
  • Freshman keeper Kelsey Dossey became the first Mizzou goalie to start the season opener since Laura Buehrig in 2004. She boasts a 0.61 GAA and a .778 save percentage in 294:14 minutes of action.
  • 2015 marks the 20th season of Mizzou soccer, as the program started in 1996 under the direction of current Head Coach Bryan Blitz. Blitz and the Tigers own identical 210-166-25 records in 19 seasons.
Eight starters are back for Mizzou in 2015 from the 2014 squad that went 12-7-3 and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
