Track & Field Earns USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors

For the 51st consecutive year, the women of Mizzou track & field have found themselves in the company of some of the highest academically-achieving programs in the country, as they were recognized on the USTFCCCA's (U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association) All-Academic Team list.  Boasting a cumulative GPA of 3.32, the women also had eight individual award winners, along with four from the men's team.

COLUMBIA, Mo. - For the 51st consecutive year, the women of Mizzou track & field have found themselves in the company of some of the highest academically-achieving programs in the country, as they were recognized on the USTFCCCA's (U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association) All-Academic Team list.  Boasting a cumulative GPA of 3.32, the women also had eight individual award winners, along with four from the men's team.

Mizzou was one of ten SEC schools to be recognized on the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team list, and holds the third-highest GPA in the conference.

To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic honor, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25, and meet one of the following athletic standards:
   - For the indoor season, a student-athlete must have finished the regular season ranked in the national top 96 in an individual event or ranked in the national top 48 in a relay event.
   - For the outdoor season, a student-athlete must have participated in any round of the NCAA Division I Championships (including the Preliminary Rounds).
