• Mizzou Men's Basketball (7-14, 1-7) hits the road to face Alabama (13-8, 3-5), with game time set for 8 p.m., Wednesday, on SEC Network.
• Senior guard Keith Shamburger's 5.8 assist/turnover ratio in SEC action ranks No. 1 in the conference.
• Sophomore guard Wes Clark's 1.8 steals per game in SEC action currently ranks tied for No. 4 in the league.
• Clark also ranks fifth in assist/turnover ratio in SEC games with his 2.0 mark.
• Mizzou's leading scorer, Johnathan Williams, III (12.6 PPG) scored a team-best 14 points in the Tigers' 67-47 setback vs. Ole Miss (Jan. 31).
• Williams averaged just 5.8 points per game in 2013-14, but under head coach Kim Anderson, J3's average has more than doubled (12.6).
• Clark averaged just 4.1 points per game in 2013-14, but is currently Mizzou's leading scorer in conference games at 12.1 points per game.

A LOOK AT THE OPPONENT... ALABAMA
• Alabama (13-8, 3-5) will host Mizzou with an outstanding home record of 11-2 inside Coleman Coliseum. In SEC action, the Crimson Tide has split its league games, 2-2, at home.
• Head coach Anthony Grant's squad turned away Texas A&M, 65-44, on Jan. 6, and edged Auburn, 57-55, on Jan. 24, in SEC home games. Setbacks at home in conference have included Kentucky (70-48 on Jan. 17) and Florida (52-50 on Jan. 27).
• The Crimson Tide is led in the scoring department by senior guard Levi Randolph's 14.6 points per game. That mark ranks ninth in the league in overall games. Randolph also ranks highly in the SEC in free throw percentage (5th - 81.6) and minutes played per game (6th - 34.3).
• Sophomore forward Michael Kessens has been Alabama's top rebounder, bringing down 5.8 boards per game. Kessens has averaged 6.1 rebounds per game in conference action.
• Mizzou trails Alabama in the all-time series, 5-3. Since joining the SEC, the Tigers have gone 2-1 against the Crimson Tide.
• The Tigers began a home-and-home series with Alabama the season after head coach Kim Anderson graduated from the University of Missouri. Mizzou was edged by Alabama during the 1977-78 and 1978-79 seasons by scores of 75-71 and 65-58 for the first two meetings ever between the two programs. Since that point, Mizzou and Alabama are an even 3-3 against each other.

• As an official corporate partner of the NCAA, Infiniti will make total donations throughout the competition of $349,000. As coaches advance throughout the competition, donations totaling $249,000 will be awarded to each of their charities of choice; the farther they advance, the more money the coaches raise. The final winning coach will receive a total of $100,000 to benefit his charity of choice.
• The second round runs from Jan. 26 - Feb. 15, with the third round of voting cutting the field to 16 coaches.
