Quick Hits
• Mizzou's win over the 12th-ranked Aggies marks the first time the Tigers have defeated a ranked opponent on the road since Feb. 17, 2007 when Mizzou topped No. 19 Nebraska.
• With the Tigers' win over Texas A&M, Mizzou has now won three consecutive SEC games, which marks the first time since the 2006-07 season that the Tigers have won three league games in a row.
• Thursday's win also marks Mizzou's sixth SEC win of the season, matching the Tigers' league win totals from the past two years. Should the Tigers top Arkansas on Sunday, Mizzou's seven league wins will stand as the best record for a team in league play since the 2005-06 season when the Tigers finished Big 12 play 10-6.
• If the SEC Women's Basketball season had ended following Thursday's games, Mizzou would have earned a No. 9 seed into the tournament, facing the No. 8 seed, Arkansas. Going into the tournament as the ninth seed would be the Tigers highest seeding since the 2006 Big 12 Tournament when Mizzou entered as the No. 4 seed.
• It's no secret that sophomore Jordan Frericks is Mizzou's weapon on the glass. She is averaging 9.9 rebounds per game and stands as the first Tiger to average almost 10 rebounds per game since Kesha Bonds averaged 10.1 rpg in the 1997-98 season.
• #RoadWarrior: In road games this year, Jordan Frericks averages an impressive 18.6 points and 10.2 rebounds per game. She accounts for 30-percent of the team's points and 27-percent of the team's rebounds in road games.
• In 28 games this season the Tigers have allowed just six teams to shoot better than 40-percent in a game. In fact, the Tigers have limited opponents to less than 37-percent shooting in 17 games, winning 13 of those 17 contests.
• The 47 points allowed by Mizzou against Florida are the fewest that the Tigers have ever allowed in a regular season SEC game since joining the league and match the fewest ever in an SEC game allowed by the Tigers (Mizzou held Vanderbilt to 53 in the SEC Tournament in 2012-13)
• Mizzou has been getting it done with defense so far this season. In fact, in 18 of the Tigers' games this season, they have held their opponents to 60 or fewer points. Of course, Mizzou has won 13 of those 18 contests. Mizzou held its opponents to 60 or fewer points just 11 times last season. In fact, Mizzou has won 22 of its last 28 games when holding opponents to fewer than 60 points (dating back to the start of last season).
• A big reason why Mizzou's defense has been so stingy is the fact that they are limiting opponents to 34.9-percent shooting this season, first in the SEC and the 10th in the nation.
