The Tigers tipped-off a two-game road stretch at Vanderbilt on Sunday and the team will head down to College Station to face the Aggies on Thursday, Feb. 26. Mizzou will close it's regular season at home on March 1 against the Arkansas Razorbacks. March 1st will mark senior day, honoring our two Tiger seniors, Bree Fowler and Morgan Eye.

Last Time vs. Texas A&M
A stellar night for sophomore forward Jordan Frericks on both ends of the floor was not enough as the Tigers hung with the No. 14-ranked Texas A&M Aggies, falling 55-48. Mizzou stayed close to the No. 14-ranked team in the nation, trailing at halftime only 28-21. Frericks continued to be a force in the paint grabbing 10 of her 16 total rebounds in the first half. The Tigers were led in scoring in the first half by guard Maddie Stock with eight points, who hit two big three-pointers to keep the game close to end the half. The junior finished the night 12 points overall. Last time the Tigers traveled to College Station, Mizzou fell to the Aggies, 77-58.

Scouting Texas A&M
The 12th-ranked Aggies will see Mizzou off of a win over Florida. Leading scorer Courtney Williams is averaging 15.2 points per game and has led the team in scoring in 13 of the Aggies games this season. The Aggies average more than 67 points per game, good for fourth in the league. A&M outscores its opponents by an average of 11.5 points and ranks third in the league for its 43.6-percent shooting from the field.

• Missouri has a history of defeating ranked opponents as the Tigers have knocked of two or more ranked foes in three of head coach Robin Pingeton's four years at Mizzou.

• It's no secret that sophomore Jordan Frericks is Mizzou's weapon on the glass. She is averaging 9.8 rebounds per game and stands as the first Tiger to average almost 10 rebounds per game since Kesha Bonds averaged 10.1 rpg in the 1997-98 season.

• #RoadWarrior: In road games this year, Jordan Frericks averages an impressive 17.9 points and 10 rebounds per game. She accounts for 30-percent of the team's points and 15-percent of the team's rebounds in road games.

• In 27 games this season the Tigers have allowed just five teams to shoot better than 40-percent in a game. In fact, the Tigers have limited opponents to less than 37-percent shooting in 17 games, winning 13 of those 17 contests.

• The 47 points allowed by Mizzou against Florida are the fewest that the Tigers have ever allowed in a regular season SEC game since joining the league and match the fewest ever in an SEC game allowed by the Tigers (Mizzou held Vanderbilt to 53 in the SEC Tournament in 2012-13)

• Mizzou has been getting it done with defense so far this season. In fact, in 18 of the Tigers' games this season, they have held their opponents to 60 or fewer points. Of course, Mizzou has won 13 of those 18 contests. Mizzou held its opponents to 60 or fewer points just 11 times last season. In fact, Mizzou has won 22 of its last 28 games when holding opponents to fewer than 60 points (dating back to the start of last season).

• A big reason why Mizzou's defense has been so stingy is the fact that they are limiting opponents to 34.6-percent shooting this season, first in the SEC and the 10th in the nation.

• The Tigers have also made a living on limiting second-chance points this season. In 10 games this year, Mizzou has limited its opponent to single-digit second-chance points. The last time coming against Auburn in Columbia, when the Tigers allowed the Tigers just three second-chance points. Mizzou averages 14 second chance points per game while only allowing opponents an average of 10.2.

Jordan Frericks sits at No. 46 in the nation for her rebounding numbers so far this season.

• The Tigers have gone hard on the glass this season, outrebounding opponents in 18 games so far this year. The Tigers grabbed a season-high 55 rebounds against UNLV on Nov. 21. Mizzou has tallied 50 or more boards in three games.

• Mizzou averages 29 defensive rebounds per game this season, a number that leads the SEC. That number is also good for 16th overall in the nation. Idaho leads the nation with just 31 defensive rebounds per game.
