COLUMBIA, Mo. - After a pair of dominating wins in the team's home opener, Mizzou tennis is right back at it on Friday, Jan. 30 with a road doubleheader in Wichita, Kan. The Tigers are set to face No. 43 Wichita State at 8 a.m. (CT), followed by a 12 p.m. (CT) matchup with Creighton. Fans can follow both matches online with scoring updates on Twitter (@MizzouTennis).
The Tigers improved to 3-1 on the young Spring 2015 season after two convincing wins on Wednesday, Jan. 28. Mizzou swept visiting Northern Iowa 7-0 in the first contest, and defeated SIU-Edwardsville 6-1 in the doubleheader night cap.
Five different Tigers completed Wednesday's doubleheader with an unblemished record, including sophomore Cassidy Spearman improving her spring record to a combined 6-0.
Following Friday's road double dip, the Tigers return to Columbia, Mo. for yet another doubleheader on Saturday, Feb. 7. Mizzou faces IUPUI and Missouri State at 10 a.m. (CT) and 5 p.m. (CT), respectively.
