Colonel Shawn Fairhurst of the 45th Space Wing gets his tickets
CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. - The Mizzou Department of Athletics and Assistant Athletic Director Brent Lewis took the time Wednesday morning (Dec. 31) to drive to Cape Canaveral, Fla., to donate Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl tickets to the men and women serving our nation at Patrick Air Force Base. Lewis left the tickets with Chief First Master Sergeant Craig Neri and Colonel Shawn Fairhurst of the 45th Space Wing.
"A big part of what we do is making sure that as an Athletic Department, we are giving back to those who do so much for our country," Lewis said. "Every year, if we have the ability to, we try to donate tickets to charities or other organizations. I hope that those we donated to at Patrick Air Force Base gets a chance to enjoy the game tomorrow and cheer on the Tigers."
