COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou wrestling continues to garner preseason recognition, as they came in at No. 6 in the first USA Today / NWCA Division I Coaches Poll released last Saturday by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA).
The Tigers have consistently been tabbed in top-10 preseason rankings according to several media outlets. Saturday's first edition of the NWCA Coaches Poll is the latest accolade for a Mizzou wrestling team primed for a long postseason run this upcoming 2014-15 season.
Mizzou currently stands as the highest ranked team inside the Mid-American Conference (MAC) at No. 6, according to the NWCA Coaches Poll. The next highest MAC team is Northern Iowa at No. 17, followed by Old Dominion at No. 22 and Ohio at No. 24.
