Mizzou volleyball adds a pair of highly-touted signees for 2015.
COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou volleyball is happy to announce the addition of a pair of highly-touted recruits as Alyssa Munlyn (Suwanee, Ga.) and Riley Sents (Grundy Center, Iowa) have signed National Letters of Intent to play at Mizzou next season. Munlyn was tabbed the No. 36 recruit nationally by PrepVolleyball.com while Sents ranked among the PrepVolleyball.com Top 150 High School seniors. Both will join the Tigers for the 2015 season.
"We are extremely excited to add both Alyssa and Riley to our program," head coach Wayne Kreklow said. "While we are always looking to fill position needs when we are out recruiting, we are also looking for quality people that will represent our program well and Alyssa and Riley certainly fit that description. Both of them should step in and help us immediately and I am excited to have them here at Mizzou."

Played club volleyball for A5 in Alpharetta, Ga., under head coach Bob Westbrook, a team that produced 13 Division I players while ranking third in Volleyball Magazine's national club rankings (17-U) ... Led A5 to an 8-2 record and a second-place finish at AAUs ... Was named USA Volleyball GJNC All-Tournament and was an AAU All-American for her performance at Junior Nationals ... Played for Vanessa Henry at North Gwinnett High School as well ... Area 6A Most Valuable Player as a junior after recording 303 kills and 121 blocks for North Gwinnett High School ... Prepvolleyball.com Second Team All-American as a junior ... USAVB All-Tournament Team ... First Team All-County as a junior ... Selected to Gwinnett County's Super Six as a senior in 2014 ... Helped North Gwinnett to a Class 6A state runner-up finish in 2014, the first time a Gwinnett Public School team had reached the state finals.
Coach Kreklow on Alyssa: "Alyssa has such a high ceiling due to her remarkable athleticism and she is the type of player that we expect to help us tremendously at the net for the next four years. She had a very successful high school career and played on a very good club team in Georgia. She has garnered a lot of high praise as a volleyball player, but more importantly, she comes from a great family. We are really excited to have her on campus next year."

Rated among the `Top 150 Senior Aces' list by PrepVolleyball.com after playing club volleyball for the Iowa Rockets and head coach David Rodgers ... Led the state of Iowa in digs as a sophomore and a junior and garnered two consecutive North Iowa Cedar League First Team selections, being tabbed as the Conference Player of the Year as a junior ... Guided Grundy Center to conference titles in every year with the program ... Named 2013 Times-Republican All-Area Volleyball Player of the Year ... Pulled in 789 digs as a junior in 2013 and 752 as a sophomore in 2012 ... Led Grundy Center to a 29-9 record as a senior and a 7-0 mark in conference play ... Pulled in 602 digs in her senior season and was aced just eight times on 406 reception chances ... In all, she boasted a .972 service reception percentage in four years of high school ... Class 2A first team All-State in 2013 and led all of Iowa with her 8.22 digs per set average as a junior ... Pulled in more than 2,000 career digs at Grundy Center.
Coach Kreklow on Riley: "Riley comes from another volleyball family and has been one of the most prolific defensive players in Iowa high school history. She is a very steady passer and keeps a lot of balls off the floor in the back row. She plays with a lot of energy and has the potential to be a fan-favorite with the way she plays the game. I think fans will really enjoy watching her play in the back row."
