Game Notes
- Mizzou now leads the all-time series with Arkansas, 6-3, after Friday night's win. Wayne Kreklow is now 4-1 all-time against the Razorbacks and Mizzou has won six of the last seven matches against its border rivals.
- Mizzou is now 33-15 all-time in SEC play and 19-6 at home in SEC contests.
- Freshman Kasey Reuter started again making her fifth consecutive start on Friday. She finished with five kills and three digs.
- Ali Kreklow went on a 6-0 serving strike in the first set when the score was 2-2.
- Mizzou was leading 12-3 in the first set, and all three of the Razorbacks points came from Mizzou service errors.
- Arkansas only tallied only three kills in the first set, which is the lowest Mizzou has allowed in any given set this season. Mizzou also accomplished that feat in the season-opener against Mississippi Valley State. It is the lowest amount of kills Mizzou has allowed in a set in SEC play.
- Mizzou did a nice job of slowing down Arkansas' Meredith Hays, who came into the match leading the SEC in points and kills per set. She finished the night with 11 kills on .091 hitting and had just four kills on .062 hitting at intermission.
- In set three Carly Kan got her fifteenth double-double, which leads in the SEC.
