Welcome back Mizzou Fans!
We hope you're as excited as we are for the 2014 Mizzou Volleyball season! We reached new heights as a team last fall and we need your help to keep it up. We are proud to call ourselves reigning SEC Champions, but as always, there's more work to be done.
After a record breaking 35-1 season, Mizzou is ranked among the top in the SEC again this year. Several returning Tigers have also been honored individually. Senior Whitney Little and sophomore Carly Kan were each named honorable mention All-Americans last season, and along with senior teammates Sarah Meister and Emily Wilson, were selected to participate in the Team USA Collegiate National Team program this summer.
We are working hard to again keep the program in the national spotlight and build upon last year's successes. We are currently on a four-match winning streak and have plenty of notes to brag about. Wayne and Susan Kreklow just won their combined 300th career match since taking over at Mizzou.
As Mizzou volleyball fans, we would like to invite you to join the Point Mizzou Club, a booster club that is designed to generate support and excitement for MU Volleyball. In addition to providing additional financial support for our program, the Point Mizzou Club will help us keep alumnae and fans, updated on all the exciting news and events surrounding our Tigers.
Your financial support goes directly to the Missouri volleyball program and helps offset expenses in areas such as travel, equipment, and special projects. This year, your gift will go toward our spring 2015 trip to China, where our team will compete internationally. The Point Mizzou Club is approved by the University of Missouri Athletic Department and is in compliance with all of the rules and regulations of the University of Missouri, the Southeastern Conference, and the NCAA.
