The preseason tilt will be an excellent test for the Tigers, as North Carolina owns 22 National Championships. Last season, the Tarheels went 20-5 and advanced to the NCAA quarterfinals before falling to eventual National Champion UCLA, 1-0, in double overtime. North Carolina will be without two key contributors, however, as forward Summer Green and midfielder Katie Bown are currently playing in the 2014 FIFA U-20 World Cup.

Missouri returns eight starters from the 2013 campaign that saw the squad post an 8-9-3 record and knock off three top-25 teams. The Tigers officially open the 2014 season on Friday, Aug. 22 against Syracuse at the Penn State Invitational in University Park, Pa.
