DALLAS - Mizzou diver Lauren Reedy swept the 3-meter and 3-meter synchro events on Friday, July 18 at the USA Diving Zone C National Preliminaries at SMUs A.R. Barr Pool in Dallas, Texas. With her wins, Reedy qualified for the 2014 AT&T National Diving Championships in August.
On 3-meter, Reedy sat in 21st place after two dives in preliminaries but rebounded with dives of 58.50, 63.00 and 62.00 to top the round with a tally of 269.00. She then scored 280.65 in finals to take the title.
Reedy and Meghan Houston, who competes as Texas, also took the top spot on synchronized 3-meter. The pair scored 261.90 points in the final after a tally of 254.70 in prelims.
Additionally, Clark Thomas competed on 1-meter and earned a sixth-place finish. He scored 300.60 points in finals after notching 297.05 points in preliminaries.
