• Mizzou honored the 1954 championship team on the field prior to the start of the game.
• Ryan Howard made his first career start batting in the third spot in the lineup
• Starter John Miles left the game in the third inning with bicep tightness
• With Dillon Everett's walk in the third inning, he extended his on base streak to 10 games, the longest such active streak on the team.
• Jake Ring recorded his third outfield assist of the season when he threw a runner out at home with an absolute seed in the fourth inning. It was his first assists since April 12 at Kentucky.
• Pete Fairbanks set a career high with six strikeouts today. His previous career high was four strikeouts against Southern Illinois and Missouri State in back to back starts in April of this year.
• Missouri is now 0-5 all-time against Vanderbilt
• Missouri falls to 7-18 in day games this year
• Mizzou is 5-16 on the year against top-25 teams, and 0-5 against top-10 teams.
