Game Notes
• Natalie Fleming hit her sixth home run of the season and third of the series. She is the first Tiger this year to hit a home run in three consecutive games.
• Emily Crane's RBI groundout in the third inning was her first RBI since returning from injury.
• Fleming scored every time she had a chance to hit. Besides her home run, she walked twice and her teammates brought her around to score.
• The Tigers turned their 20th double play of the season in the fifth inning.
• Kelli Schkade reached base all three times she stepped up the plate, walking, reaching on a fielder's choice and recording on a bunt single in the sixth inning.
• Fleming is now tied with Mackenzie Sykes for the team lead in home runs during conference play with four
• After going 2-for-3 and 5-for-9 in the series, Corrin Genovese has increased her SEC-best conference batting average to .479.
• Tori Finucane pitched 13.0 innings giving up one unearned run on five hits and three walks, while striking out 10 over two games in 24 hours. Her record is now 16-5 and 8-2 in SEC play.
• The series sweep is the second consecutive sweep for the Tigers in conference competition.
• Gadbois and Genovese both picked up multi-hit games, their 22nd and 11th, respectively.
• Mizzou is now 18-0 when they hold their opponent to one run or less.
