
Men's Golf Holds on to Lead at C&F Bank Intercollegiate

Williamsburg, Va. - Emilio Cuartero and Jace Long are tied for first at the C&F Bank Intercollegiate as the Tigers continue to lead the tournament after the second round of play. Mizzou (+8) holds a five-stoke advantage over Old Dominion (+13) who sits in second place. UNCG rounds out the top three with a score of 15-over-par after the second round.
Both Long and Cuartero currently sit 2-under-par after the second day on the course. Long recorded five birdies in the round, but a double bogey on the last hole gave him a score of 73, 2-over par. Cuartero finished the second round 3-over-par, hitting two birdies on the back nine.
Freshman Ryan Zech moved up in the tournament as he now sits in a tie for 11th place. Zech is currently 3-over-par after scoring 72-73 on the first two days.
Nick Wilson came out stronger in the second round as he scored just 3-over-par. He tallied four birdies in the second round of play, for a final second-round score of 151, 9-over-par. Wilson Sundvold shot 7-over-par to end the second round 13-over-par.
