Opening Remarks
"Well I'm really happy for our girls, I thought we played a really nice second half. There are a lot of positives that we can continue to build on, especially our players coming off the bench late in the game. They had a tough outing our last home game, it really challenged them. We talk a lot about playing for 40 minutes, from start to finish regardless of what the score is. I thought they played really well. Sydney Crafton is starting to play like we all know she can, and we need her too. BreAnna Brock and Christine Flores both had really nice nights out for us tonight. There are just a lot of positives, absolutely a lot of positives, I thought we had a lot of breakdowns in the first half. We lack some discipline, some of our offensive movement, some of our offensive rotations defensively, but overall I'm really pleased with another win for our team."
On the game plan for Wright St...
"Honestly I don't know if they are that much different than the teams we have been playing. They have the athleticism on the perimeter, some quick athletic perimeter kids; they have some strong inside post players. Especially early on in the season and really all season long, it's our philosophy that its always about us, about our approach, it's about our execution, it's about sticking to our game plan in regards to what we are looking for offensively and defensively. It's about being assignment correct, making the proper rotations, so I don't know, I think they were really similar to the first four opponents that we have played so far this season."
On Christine Flores second half...
"Christine is a senior and she understands at a different level. She has worked awfully hard in the offseason. I think she is a young lady who has very high expectations of herself and as a player. As a four year player, someone who has played as many minutes as she has, I think you can evaluate yourself pretty easily, and I think she knew at half time that she could be doing more than what she was doing. She has been getting in the gym a little extra, working on her shot, on her three point shot, on her footwork. She understands, her and BreAnna both understand, how important they are to our team and to helping us go this year. I am just challenging them to step up their game, there was nothing in particular I said to her, it was more her evaluating herself and being honest with herself that she could do more than what she was doing in the first half."
On senior consistently scoring......
Absolutely, we are such a young team and inexperienced team. It's interesting because you call them seniors, but BreAnna Brock and Bailey Gee but they don't have the minutes of a typical senior in a program. We are still a little inexperienced we have a lot of youth and a lot of new faces, but I'm encouraged about the growth we've seen consistently from the start of the season to where we're at now. Don't get me wrong let's be realistic we've still got a long ways to go, but there are certainly a lot of positives and a lot of bright spots that I think we can continue to build off of."

On what was different in the second half...
"Just the energy level - it felt a lot different in the second half, coming in after halftime. But getting two fouls in the first quarter is never ideal. I just had to pick it up. I knew I had to and I did it."
On what they prepared for this game...
"Boxing out. We were working really hard on that. Also, having help-side defense. We're learning to work together really well as [BreAnna] said. Our help-side has honestly gotten a lot better. That's pretty much what we've been working on - help-side and boxing out."
Senior forward BreAnna Brock
On what's been different this season...
"I just think the fact that we work together as a team. We feed off of each other and I think that's the biggest change. We're a lot more confident in each other. We know that we can depend on each other, and so if one person is not picking it up we can depend on another person on the team to pick it up and we can just feed off of that."
On what they prepared for this game...
"The biggest thing has really been defense. If we do what we have to do and we talk and whatnot on defense, then the offense will fall into place and that was proven tonight as far as talking and just being there for each other, and as far as being in the help position and all that."
