Mizzou Tennis closed out its fall campaign in a big way at the 2010 USTA/ITA Central Region Championships this weekend in Fayetteville, Ark., winning six of seven matches, including a pair of singles wins by talented freshman Rachel Stuhlmann.

The St. Louis native won matches in both the qualifying and main draw consolation singles brackets, knocking off Bradley's Meredith McDonagh, 6-0, 6-2 and Kansas State's Petra Chuda, 6-2, 6-1.

Senior Mallory Weber also added another fall win to her resume sweeping Saint Louis University's Kasia Tomalak, 6-0, 6-4, while Jamie Mera earned a hard-fought win over Oklahoma State's Leyla Simmons, 4-6, 6-0, 10-6.

The Tigers also won both of their doubles contests, with Stuhlmann and newcomer Annemijn Koenen blanking Southern Illinois' Anastacia Simons and Anita Lee, 8-0. The top Mizzou doubles tandem of Weber and Kaitlyn Ritchie topped Iowa's Jessica Young and Alexis Dorr 8-4.

Sunday's action closes out the fall campaign for the Mizzou Tennis team. The club returns to action Jan. 14-16 at the Memphis Invitational in Memphis, Tenn.
