Sept. 30, 2010
Registration remains open for Mizzou Baseball's Winter Camps. Three two-day camps are available during the final week of December.
High school age players from grades 8-12 are eligible to participate. Instruction will center around hitting, pitching, fielding, baserunning, team offense and team defense. All hitters and pitchers will be individually videotaped and reviewed with an instructor.
The Winter Baseball Camps are directed and staffed by the University of Missouri Head Coach Tim Jamieson. Coach Jamieson will be aided by Assistant Coaches Kerrick Jackson (hitting/infield), Matt Hobbs (pitching) and Travis Wendte (pitching). The camp staff will also include college coaches along with current and former Mizzou baseball players.

In the 18-year history of the camp, over 330 campers have gone on to play professional or college baseball. Twenty-three of Missouri's current players attended Mizzou's Winter Baseball Camp.
A team concept with 6-7 players per team will be utilized. Groups may sign up as teams or if a camper signs up as an individual he will be placed on a team. These teams will compete in games and game situations both offensively and defensively. Championships for team competitions will be awarded.
