Mizzou Athletics Training Complex Lobby Dedicated in honor of Bill and Jolene Schulz

Sept. 24, 2010

On Thursday, Sept. 23, the Mizzou Department of Athletics dedicated the lobby and atrium of the Mizzou Athletics Training Complex in the honor of longtime supporters Bill and Jolene Schulz. Bill, a 1962 graduate of Mizzou, and Jolene, who earned a Bachelor's degree from MU in 1963 and a Master of Education in 1973, have been a cornerstone at Missouri for over 25 years.

The Schulz's have not only been a supporter of Athletics, but have also given generously to the College of Education and the Music Department at Missouri. They are Ambassadors of the Jefferson Club and endowed life members of the Mizzou Alumni Association. They are also members of the Grace Bibb Society, the Kadlec Society and MU's Legacy Society.

Mr. & Mrs. Schulz have established a Charitable Remainder Trust to benefit the athletics program at the University. Their generosity and passion for Mizzou athletics will be showcased in the entrance of the Mizzou Athletic Training Complex.

The atrium of the MATC is in many respects the gateway to the Mizzou Athletics Program and with the renovations and redesign of the area, set to take place later this year, this doorstep will create a strong statement to current and future student-athletes that Mizzou is a first class institution.
