May 27, 2009

Oklahoma City, Okla. - Senior softball player Lindsey Ubrun was awarded third team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America honors as announced today by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Ubrun becomes the ninth Tiger softball player in program history to earn Academic All-America honors and first since Kathy Masterson received the yearly award in 2007.

In two years at Missouri, Ubrun transferred from the University of Maryland, the Tiger has etched her name in the MU home run record book with 32, good enough for fourth-best.
