COLUMBIA, Mo. – The 2009 Mizzou football season is fast approaching, and it's never too early to start making plans to catch the Tigers in action in what is a highly-anticipated season. Tiger fans can now purchase their season tickets to catch all of the action at Faurot Field in 2009, with six games on the home schedule, including highlighted matchups against Texas and Nebraska.

Tiger fans will be pleased to note that season ticket prices have remained the same as 2008 pricing levels. General public season tickets are available for $280, with other pricing levels of $225 for Faculty-Staff, $199 for the Tiger Zone and $168 for Young Alumni seating.

Tickets are available online at www.mutigers.com, or can be purchased in person at the Mizzou Arena Ticket Office, or via phone at 1-800-CAT-PAWS (884-PAWS in Mid-Missouri).

Renewal order forms and additional information was mailed last week to 2008 season ticket holders, with a deadline of May 8th for reserving their previously-held seats. Fans are encouraged to be on the lookout in their mailboxes for the information, and to contact the MU Ticket Office with questions.

The Tigers resume spring practices tomorrow, as they return from Spring Break last week. Mizzou and Head Coach Gary Pinkel are working to defend their two consecutive Big 12 Conference North Division titles, and to reach a bowl game for a school-record fifth-straight year. Spring drills will conclude with the annual Black & Gold Game, which is set for Saturday, April 18th at Faurot Field.

Kickoff for the Black & Gold Game is set for 1 p.m. (central time), and admission is just $3, or three canned food items, which go to support the Central Missouri Food Bank. In conjunction with the game, the Tiger Team Store will be holding its annual spring garage sale, with significant discounts available on new Tiger gear, as well as team practice and game equipment and uniforms.
