Hey Tiger Fans!

This past weekend we stayed in Columbia for a home meet against SEMO. It was nice to stay home and get a weekend off of traveling! This was definitely our best meet yet. We came out with our best score of the season, 195.750!

We got off to a great start on vault scoring a 49.250! Becky did a great layout half and got her season high of 9.775. Next was bars where we kept up the momentum and hit great routines. Becky opened for us and got another season high of 9.725, followed by Allie who also got a season high of 9.750. After a great showing on the first two events, we moved on to beam. Just like vault and bars, we had another solid performance. Heading into the floor, we were right where we needed to be to get our highest score of the season. Everyone did an awesome job performing their routines like we have been practicing, and we got great scores that show it.

This week we have been back in the gym and working hard to prepare for our meet this weekend against Illinois, which is at home and is our Beauty and the Beast meet. This meet has a gymnastics and wrestling meet going on at the same time, so be sure to be at the Hearnes Center at 6:30 pm on Friday for a great show!
