COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Missouri volleyball team (13-17, 7-13 Big 12) dropped its season finale to Texas A&M (16-14, 11-9 Big 12) on Friday night in Columbia. The Aggies took the match 25-21, 25-20, 20-25, 25-16. Mizzou was led by sophomore Julianna Klein's 13 kills.
Amanda Hantouli scored on 10 kills and three blocks. Sophomore Catie Wilson also scored on three blocks to co-lead the team in the category. Wilson came off the bench to also score six kills on an errorless 13 attacks.
Mizzou's backline all tallied at least 10 digs, as Caitlyn Vann notched 20 digs to lead the team. Freshmen Priscilla Armendariz and Annie Lopez compiled 14 and 10 digs, respectively.
In total, Mizzou scored six service aces, all coming from six separate Tigers.
The Aggies were led by Sarah Ammerman and Mary Batis who tallied 15 kills apiece.
Mizzou's season is now complete. The Tigers will finish in a tie for eighth, ninth, or tenth, pending the outcomes of Saturday's league matches.
