JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. - The Missouri men's golf team concluded its fall schedule with an eighth place finish at the Bank of Tennessee East Tennessee Intercollegiate in Jonesborough, Tenn. The Tigers recorded a team score of 299 in Sunday's final round to finish with a three-round score of 887. They finished in a tie with Tennessee for seventh.
MU senior Ryne Fisher shot a season-low 69 in Sunday's final round and finished in a tie for sixth place with a three-round total of 216. Fellow senior Peter Malnati tied for 18th place with a 54-hole score of 220 after carding a 76 in the third round.
Sophomore Will Hogan tied for 53rd place with a three-round total of 228, while sophomore William Harrold finished tied for 57th place with a 230 final total. Freshman Chris Johnson had a 54-hole total of 232 to finish in a tie for 62nd place.
Coastal Carolina won the team title with an 869, while Darren Blair of North Carolina State was the individual medalist.
The Tigers will open their spring schedule on March 6-8 with the USF Invitational in Dade City, Fla.
