ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Mizzou senior Peter Malnati recorded his third top-10 finish in the Tigers three tournaments this season, by placing in a tie for third at the Wolverine Intercollegiate. Malnati carded a one-under-par 70 in Sunday's final round after a pair of 69's in the opening two rounds.
Malnati's 54-hole total of 208 was one shot behind second place and two shots behind tournament medalist Ramie Sprinkling of UC Daivs. He finished sixth at the season opening Rutherford Intercollegiate and then tied for second at the Wolf Run Intercollegiate.
Missouri finished 12th as a team at the Wolverine Intercollegiate after a 295 on Sunday gave MU a three-round total of 872.
Sophomore Will Hogan tied for 37th place with a 54-hole total of 217. Senior William Harrold had a three-round total of 221, while sophomore Tyler Hillis had a 226 total and senior Ryne Fisher finished with a 231 score.
Next up for the Tigers is the Windon Memorial in Glencoe, Ill. Oct. 5-6.
