ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Missouri senior Peter Malnati carded two rounds of 69 on the first day of the Wolverine Invitational in Ann Arbor, Mich. He stands in a tie for third place with a 36-hole total of 138.
The Tigers are in 11th place in the team standings with a two-round score of 577 (294-283).
Malnati made six birdies in his second round on his way two his second-straight 69.
Sophomore Will Hogan is in a tie for 24th spot with a 143 total, followed by fellow sophomores William Harrold (tied for 47th with a 146 score) and Tyler Hillis (tied for 62nd with a 150 total). Senior Ryne Fisher has a two-day total of 154.
The final round will get underway Sunday morning.
