Columbia, Mo. - Rise Magazine recently named Tiger signee Jessie Crabtree, a senior forward from Marion, Ill., to the Greater Chicago All-Area Soccer team.

Crabtree has already enjoyed a successful high school career, and she has not even begun her senior season at Marion High School in Southern Illinois. Last season she earned All-State honors, while helping the Wildcats earn their best record in school history. The 2008 season begins Monday, March 24, when Marion hosts Cahokia (Ill.).

In addition to her high school success, she was also a part of the Missouri State Olympic Development Program in 2006 and 2007, and she also played with Metro United FC and River Cities FC.

Tiger signee Liz Gayer (Columbia, Mo./Hickman) was also honored by the magazine in their St. Louis region issue.
