COLUMBIA, Mo. - The University of Missouri women's basketball program will join the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and 600 schools nationally in the organization's "Think Pink" initiative on Feb. 17 when it hosts Kansas State at Mizzou Arena in a 2:30 p.m. contest.

Think Pink
The WBCA's "Think Pink" initiative is a global, unified effort for the Women's Basketball Coaches Association's (WBCA) nation of coaches to assist in raising breast cancer awareness on the court, across campuses, in communities and beyond.

The first 1,000 fans in attendance for the game against Kansas State will receive a free pink t-shirt, courtesy of CenturyTel and Hoss' Market and Rotisserie. All fans are asked to wear pink to support the cause.

In honor of the event, the Tigers will don pink shoelaces, headbands and shooting shirts during the contest, all provided by NIKE.

All breast cancer survivors in attendance will be honored at halftime.

Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for children and $2 for all fans who wear pink to the game. One dollar from every ticket sold will go directly to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. To purchase tickets, call 1-800-CAT-PAWS or 884-PAWS locally.
