COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Missouri men's swimming and diving team headed to Phoenix, Ariz., this past week for its annual training trip. The team not only plans to spend a good deal of quality time in the pool, but also looks to get out and enjoy all that Arizona's capital city has to offer. Providing a glimpse of the Tigers' time spent in the Grand Canyon State is senior Brandon Lee in a daily journal.

Of his Monday, Lee writes, "Today's morning practice started off with a team stretch in the weight room because the weather was acting up again. It has rained most of the day and this morning it rained hard. The water was warm but the air was pretty cold. The sprinters started off practice with weights and then followed that with a water workout, while the rest of the team swam first and then lifted weights. After practice we headed back to the hotel for breakfast and a nap. After this afternoon's practice a lot of the team is going to the Phoenix Suns-Denver nuggets basketball game, but I am just laying low in the hotel and watching the football game. I'm going to try to catch up on some rest."
