Columbia, Mo. - University of Missouri senior guard Stefhon Hannah will be out 4-6 weeks after sustaining an injury outside of a Columbia night club and restaurant on Sunday morning.
"What we know at this point in time is that Stefhon was injured in an altercation outside of the Athena night club and restaurant and suffered a fractured jaw," Head Coach Mike Anderson said. "After speaking with Stefhon and folks from the hospital, we have the understanding that the surgery was a success and for that, we are grateful. While our primary concern in this case is Stefhon's well-being, we will go through the process of gathering facts surrounding this incident and we will proceed appropriately."
Missouri returns to action on Wednesday when it hosts the University of Nebraska. Game time is slated for 7 pm. inside Mizzou Arena.
