Columbia, Mo. - With the Big 12 Conference season on the horizon, Mizzou Athletics is announcing that single-game tickets for Big 12 action (not including the Kansas Game on Jan. 19) go on sale Dec. 17 at 8 a.m. through the Mizzou Athletics Ticket Office.
Fans can purchase tickets through mutigers.com, by calling the ticket office directly at 1-800-CAT-PAWS or by visiting the Mizzou Arena ticket office during business hours.
Missouri's Big 12 Conference home slate promises to be an exciting one, as the Tigers welcome in Top 25 teams Texas and Texas A&M to Mizzou Arena, in addition to traditional rivals Kansas State, Iowa State, Nebraska and Oklahoma State.
Tickets for the annual Border Showdown with Kansas will go on sale Jan. 4 at 6 p.m. Tickets for the Jan. 19 contest can only be purchased online via mutigers.com, with a limit of four tickets per customer.
Missouri Basketball is off to a 6-3 start to the season, including last Saturday's thrilling 73-63 win over Purdue. The Tigers closed the game on a 24-4 run to overtake the Boilermakers and improve their non-conference home court winning streak to 23 games. In addition to its home court winning streak, Missouri is among the nation's highest scoring teams at 83.9 point per game (No. 15 nationally). Overall, Head Coach Mike Anderson is a perfect 16-0 in his Missouri tenure in non-conference home games and will look to improve that mark to 17-0 Saturday vs. the Cowboys.
