COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Missouri men's swimming and diving team will play host to Virginia Tech, Southern Illinois, Missouri State and Drury in the second annual Mizzou Dual Challenge beginning Friday at 5 p.m. The three-day meet, which features the Tigers in four duals over the course of the weekend, will be held in the Mizzou Aquatics Center. Admission to each session is free. Fans unable to catch this weekend's action can find live updates on mutigers.com.

Last Year's Meet

The Mizzou men swept all four duals in last year's Mizzou Dual Challenge, which featured Southern Illinois, Iowa, Drury and Louisville. Both Southern Illinois and Drury return to the MAC for this year's meet.

Tigers in 2007-08

The Tigers are 1-1 on the young 2007-08 season. The men suffered a tough loss to now-No. 8 Indiana in the season opener on Oct. 12, but bounced back a week later to take care of conference rival Texas A&M, currently ranked No. 22 in the nation.

Give `Em Some Love

In the season's first College Swim Coaches Association of America Top 25 Poll released on Oct. 23, the Tigers received 31 votes. The team's vote share put them second of all teams outside of the top 25 receiving votes. The votes were also cast before the Tigers' tallied their win against Texas A&M, who received a top 25 ranking. With this solid conference win under their belt it will be interesting to see how the Tigers fair in next week's second set of rankings.
